Vision often improves steadily after that initial healing period, but it can take several weeks to become consistently clear. Fine-tuning may continue for several months. LASIK typically provides a faster visual recovery, which may make it more attractive for someone who needs to return to desk work, driving, or travel quickly.
The question is not which recovery is objectively easier. It is whether the advantages of PRK are worth the additional healing time for your eyes and schedule. PRK May Be Better for Certain Eye Surface Concerns
