Jake shares his experience as a LASIK of Nevada patient. He talks about his decision to have LASIK, the research he put into it, the LASIK of Nevada staff, the day of the procedure, and his results.
I’m Jake Rossetti and I had LASIK about 3 months ago.
I decided to have LASIK because I recently had a baby, and playing with him was really tough. He is always knocking off my glasses or poking me in the eye and making my contact come out, so I thought that I would celebrate a little bit by giving myself LASIK.
Before LASIK I wore contacts and glasses, but it was a constant battle between the two because I didn’t know where I was staying. If I was staying at a friend’s house then I’d have to bring the case for my glasses and my contacts and the solution, so it just depended on the day. I’m a hypochondriac, and I was doing research day and night for a few weeks, so I found the best place to do it with the best reviews. I found that LASIK of Nevada was the right choice.
The LASIK of Nevada staff had answers to all of my questions. They were really friendly and helpful to a guy like me who had a thousand questions.
The procedure was quick and easy! It was a lot easier than I thought; it was like a minute each eye. And then I just opened my eyes and followed directions and it was done.
The results have been: I have 20/15 in my eyes, but the last time I went in they said it was closer to 20/10 so I was excited about that! The procedure changed my life by giving me the freedom with my son now. He’s about 18 months old now. I can play freely with him and not worry about contacts or glasses. I feel safer that way too, being able to keep an eye on him, now that I can actually see.
