My name is Julie Abuan and I had my LASIK a couple months ago.
I decided to have LASIK surgery because I used to be nearsighted, and I just have to wear glasses every time I have to drive.
What was frustrating about wearing my glasses is that it just bothers me all the time and I have to keep taking it off sometimes because I work a lot of time with a computer. And I cannot read with my glasses on, so I have to keep taking it off, and when I have to go and look for something far, then I have to wear it again, so it’s just very uncomfortable.
I would describe the LASIK of Nevada staff as, they are so wonderful, and when I first came in there I didn’t know what to expect. I have so many questions myself. So when I went in there they welcomed me, they explained all the procedures to me, answered all my questions, and they made me feel comfortable until I really decided what I wanted to do for myself at that time.
On the day of the procedure, I was kind of anxious, because I don’t know if it’s going to hurt, or how it’s going to feel. So I was welcomed by the staff and again, they explained again what to do, and we had a little brief meeting with the doctor, he explained all the procedures to us, and made me feel very comfortable at that time. And it was so quick and easy. And before I knew it, it was all done!
The results of my LASIK was wonderful. Ever since I had my LASIK I have not worn my glasses, and I don’t miss it all. And I am so amazed because I can see even though I’m driving, where I couldn’t even read the street before. I am so amazed, I even told my husband about it and I said, “I can actually read far,” and basically I told him that he’ll be next!
My LASIK procedure is worth the investment basically I don’t have to buy any more glasses at all. And besides, I know I can see better, and I can’t explain how wonderful it is that it changed me and I recommend it to everybody!
